    Instrumentation Engineer

    Great Talent Africa is currently looking for candidates on behalf of the engineering firm Qiubix in Denmark, for a position at a renowned international pharmaceutical company as an Instrumentation Engineer. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to contribute expertise to cutting-edge projects in a dynamic and innovative environment.

    Responsibilities:

    As an instrumentation engineer in our company, you will play a central role in the design, installation, maintenance, and optimization of instrumentation systems and equipment supporting our production facilities. Your primary responsibilities will include:

    • Participate in design reviews for electrical and instrumentation systems.
    • Develop engineering drawings and specifications.
    • Select, size, and specify equipment and instrumentation.
    • Conduct load calculations and short circuit analysis.
    • Prepare cable schedules and routing plans & Contribute to FAT and SAT.
    • Collaborate with contractors for installation.
    • Inspect and test systems for compliance.
    • Assist in commissioning and startup.
    • Maintain project documentation.
    • Stay updated on industry codes and standards (e.g., GAMP, ISPE).

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in instrumentation engineering or a related field.
    • 5+ years of experience in instrumentation engineering, ideally within the pharmaceutical or related industry.
    • In-depth knowledge of instrumentation systems, control systems, and calibration technology.
    • Experience working within the framework of regulatory standards and guidelines (e.g., FDA).
    • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
    • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
