Instrument and Electrical Technician III at Scruples Resources

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee electrical and control activities in line with applicable standards, procedures, and HSE requirements.
• Provide technical support for maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Review electrical and control specifications, work practices, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure quality and timely completion of scheduled maintenance work.
• Support work prioritization and coordinate with Operations, Engineering, and Projects teams.
• Guide technicians on current codes, standards, procedures, and technologies.
• Raise and manage Management of Change (MOC) requests for electrical and control systems.
• Monitor and inspect new installations and recommend necessary upgrades.
• Support training and development of electrical and instrumentation personnel.
• Act as a stand-in for the Instrument & Electrical Lead when required.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent technical qualification with relevant certifications.
• Experience maintaining electrical, instrumentation, and control systems in a processing plant or offshore production facility.
• Knowledge of Oil & Gas regulations, OIMS, PTW systems, and safety procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Good communication, organization, and reporting skills.
• Safety-focused with strong attention to detail.
• Good computer skills and ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
