    Inside Sales Agent

    Job Overview:

    We are looking for a highly driven Inside Sales Agent to sell Telecom products and services through indirect sales channels and drive revenue growth in the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME) segment. The role involves achieving sales target, ensuring optimal performance, professionalism in handling both internal and external customers; leveraging digital communication tools to engage customers to close sales and following specified telecom standards and processes.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Engage in day-to-day lead generation.
    • Engage in sales prospecting, analyzing, negotiating, and deal closure activities to SMEs.
    • Ensure correct sales techniques are applied in day-to-day work.
    • Generate opportunities and follow through to closure.
    • Track leads to ensure none is abandoned.
    • Drive B2B product and service sales to achieve and exceed sales target.
    • Ensure the achievement of annual revenue targets.
    • Improve sales skills and ensure career growth and development.
    • Be comfortable with initiating cold calls.
    • Engage in both outbound and inbound customer engagement.
    • Participate adequately in team activities and training.
    • Participate effectively in assigned sales events and conferences.
    • Appropriately qualify leads sent from other internal units for further development and 
    • conversion.
    • Report individual performance on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis using predefined 
    • templates and metrics.
    • Ensure accurate reporting of all sales activities using provided applications
    • Follow up with different support teams to ensure resolution of customers challenges and 
    • provide timely feedback to customers.
    • Use remote communication tools, including phone, email, instant messaging (WhatsApp), and video conferencing (Zoom, Teams, Webex, Skype) for customer engagement.
    • Follow up with internal stakeholders to confirm delivery of closed sales.
    • Any other official task that may be assigned by Line Manager for the progress of the team.
    • Conduct research using data mining systems to understand potential customers and their communication needs.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and align quickly with the provided processes and 
    • procedures for customer engagement, service implementations and issue resolutions to ensure customers get value for their money as fast as possible.

    Required Skills & Qualifications:

    • BSc/HND in any related field. 
    • Proven experience in general sales, B2B sales, or indirect channel sales.
    • Expertise in customer management, lead generation, and sales conversion techniques.
    • Ability to leverage digital communication tools effectively for sales engagement.
    • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
    • Good use of Microsoft tools.
    • Self-driven and self-motivated.
    • Ability to learn fast and adapt quickly.
    • Ability to work as a team
    • Wonderful customer service skills will be added advantage.
    • Knowledge of ICT and cloud services will be added advantage
