Innovations Manager at PharmAccess Foundation

Main tasks will be tolead and oversee the digital innovation activities in Nigeria which include the following tasks:

• Develop a network of healthcare providers which serves as the primary channel to introduce our digital innovations in Nigeria
• Develop digital and innovative models for value-based care and Pharmacy First Health Systems
• Identify challenges and barriers which impede or delay access to healthcare or payment for services caused by inefficient processes which can be solved using mobile technology or ICT
• Establish partnerships with healthcare providers and other relevant partners to co-create and implement digital innovations
• Work with colleagues and partners to develop scalable value propositions around our innovations
• Establish a strong network in the field of innovation in health in Nigeria, and maintain a thorough understanding of relevant developments and opportunities
• Materialize opportunities through concept/product design, development and testing
• Engage appropriate stakeholders for adoption of developed digital innovations
• Represent PharmAccess on digital innovations and mHealth topics in Nigeria
• Regularly publish results of deployed innovations internally and externally
• Support business development and funding raising efforts of the Nigeria office

Qualification & Requirements

• At least five years of work experience in management, working in a mobile network environment, digital payments, healthcare financing or mHealth
• Creative thinker who develops out-of-the-box solutions
• Strong product development and managerial skills - result-driven and able to lead and motivate a diverse group of ambitious colleagues and partners in an agile, fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and writing skills: data analysis and interpretation, managing budgets, proposal writing, and clear and accurate reporting
• Ability to interact effectively with multiple stakeholders and with people with different cultural backgrounds
• Understanding of healthcare financing, mobile insurance and mobile phone markets in developing countries is preferred
• Degree in Computer Science, electronic engineering or relevant educational background
• Suitable candidates will require a relevant Master’s degree
