Responsibilities

• Resolving, repairing, and installing fiber optics systems, ensuring that they work properly.
• Maintaining and ensuring full compliance with all direct broadband and mobile processes and procedures relating to fiber optic engineering and network architecture.
• Examining and replacing faulty and/or old fiber optic cables.
• Organizing scheduled maintenance routines and taking care of fiber splicing and rectify fiber optic problem areas.
• Developing sensor indicators and conduct timely inspections, so that a faulty fiber optic system does not destabilize its performance.
• Executing premises cabling and taking care of the underground and underwater cabling requirements.
• Keeping track of the signal strength of different devices including television, telephone, and high-speed internet.
• Working closely with customer service providers, vendors, and partners to resolve customer complaints and deliver high quality and reliable network performance.
• Formulating and maintaining system records and system designs.

Requirements

• B.Sc or HND in Electrical Engineering or related fields.
• 2 - 3 years relevant work experience.
• Proven experience working as a fiber optic technician or related roles.
• Strong active-listening and verbal-communication skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, customers, and stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving and logical thinking skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• In-depth knowledge of industry and technological trends

Salary
N176,000 monthly.
