    Information Technology Officer

    • Diagnose and solve hardware and software challenges
    • Provide technical assistance/support where needed; ensuring the company’s devices (laptops, printers, servers, etc run smoothly
    • Provide support, education & guidance in the deployment & maintenance of computer infrastructure and the diagnosis, and resolution of technical problems and issues
    • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
    • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
    • Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
    • Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)
    • Setting up accounts for new users
    • Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
    • Testing new technology
    • Possibly training staff on a monthly/weekly basis on what they should look out for while operating their systems

    She/he must be able to provide the following I.T services:

    • Hardware installation and maintenance
    • Technology training
    • Troubleshooting and technical support
    • Software development
    • Software as a service
    • Information reporting
    • Email services monitoring
    • Network security
    • Backup solutions
    • Cloud services

    TECHNICAL SUPPORT REQUIREMENT/SKILLS

    • OND/HND/B.Sc. In computer science or other related disciplines
    • 1-2 years experience in tech support or a similar job role
    • Strong problem–solving skills
    • Creative thinking and innovation
    • Attention to details
    • Team working
    • Interpersonal and communication skills
    • Experience in help desk software
    • Must possess an excellent work ethics
