Job Summary

• This role is responsible for managing and maintaining the technology infrastructure that supports our app. This role will play a vital role in ensuring the app's reliability, security, and optimal performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance and management of the brokerage app's technology infrastructure, including servers, databases, and networking equipment.
• Ensure the infrastructure is scalable, reliable, and secure to support the app's operations.
• Provide technical support to app users, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and offering solutions promptly.
• Collaborate with customer support teams to resolve user-reported technical problems.
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect the app and its data from cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
• Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
• Coordinate and manage software and app updates to ensure they are deployed efficiently and do not disrupt app functionality.
• Manage data backups, storage, and recovery procedures to safeguard critical app data.
• Develop and implement data retention policies.
• Contribute to the development and enforcement of IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practices.
• Collaborate with external technology vendors, service providers, and contractors to ensure the app's technology needs are met.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in case of technology failures or disasters.
• Provide training to app users and employees on technology-related topics, including app usage and best practices.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT systems, processes, and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field. 
• Minimum of Four (4) years relevant post-qualification experience 
• Master's degree or relevant professional certificate e.g CISA, CCNP, CCNA etc is an added advantage 
• Proven experience in IT support and infrastructure management, preferably in the finance or brokerage industry.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and experience in implementing security measures.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Familiarity with database management systems and networking concepts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for providing user support and collaborating with teams.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards in the finance industry is a plus.
