Job Brief

• Information and Communication Technology Officer organization will be responsible for programs on website and social media platforms, being a reference point for all IT-related queries at the user level, responding to user needs on time, and ensuring the optimal running of all systems, among other technical duties.

Main Responsibilities

• Identifying hardware and software solutions.
• Troubleshooting technical issues
• Ensuring regular updates on the organization’s website and social media spaces
• Be responsible for the organization’s social media handles
• Diagnosing and repairing ICT faults.
• Resolving network issues.
• Installing and configuring hardware and software
• Speaking to staff to quickly get to the root of their problems.
• Supporting the roll-out of new applications
• Providing support in the form of procedural documentation.
• Compiling and writing organization annual reports

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 2+ years’ experience in computer networks and systems maintenance
• Demonstrate experience working in IT operations at a similar level
• Experience of working in the NGO sector
• Good knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office applications – Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Good knowledge of networking technologies and systems – Internet, LAN switches, wireless access points, and VPNs
• Evidence of strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to follow and develop processes
• Evidence of good organizational, analytical, oral, and written communication skills in English; and ability to work well in teams
