Job Summary

As our Industrial Electrician, you'll join our skilled maintenance team. Leveraging your technical expertise and problem-solving abilities, you'll ensure the smooth operation of electrical systems in our manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on all electrical systems, machinery, and equipment and troubleshoot electrical issues, diagnose faults, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Install, test, and commission new electrical systems and equipment in the manufacturing plant and upgrade existing electrical infrastructure to improve efficiency and performance.
• Ensure that all electrical work complies with national and international safety standards and regulations conduct safety inspections, identify potential hazards, and implement corrective measures to mitigate risks.
• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members when needed and be available for emergency repairs and maintenance outside of regular working hours as required.

Requirements

• B.Eng., B.Sc., or HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• Relevant certifications in electrical installations, maintenance, and safety practices (an advantage)
• 2-3 years of practical work experience as an industrial electrician in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a cable manufacturing company
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, maintenance protocols, and safety regulations within the manufacturing industry and proficiency in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, including PLCs, motors, drives, and control panels

Salary

• N200,000 - N350,000.
