The expected date of resumption for this position is 1st February 2024.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, including employment agreements, vendor agreements, and commercial contracts.
• Ensure compliance with industry-specific laws and regulations, providing guidance to management as needed.
• Implement best practices in alignment with corporate governance code and CAMA 2020.
• Manage legal disputes, overseeing litigation, arbitration, and mediation processes.
• Review legal documents for trial proceedings and liaise with external law firms.

Requirements:

• LL. B and BL
• A minimum of 3 years in regulatory compliance, employment law, contracts, litigation, drafting, law practice, oil & gas practice, and corporate practice.
• Research and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills.
• Negotiation skills.
