Job Requirements

• Managing day to day activities relating to Imports
• Custom clearance of imported material and ensuring compliance to all government regulations and guidelines.
• Custom clearance of imported material without incurring demurrage and detention
• Negotiating best Freight rates.
• Liaising with custom authorities.
• Providing fund related requirement for import documents & custom duty to accounts
• Controlling of Duty Drawback benefits in compliance with customs law and regulations.
• Undertake & implement auction process for the services hired.
• Reconciliation of vendor’s A/c.

Job Requirements

• B.Com. (H) and a Post Diploma / MBA in Export / Import Management
• Minimum of 3 years cognate experience in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of importation process, procurement practices and principles
• Demonstrated knowledge of customs regulations and compliance requirements
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with external and internal stakeholders
• Meticulous and detail-oriented
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
