A system integrator ICT company with a clear focus in technology enabled solutions and professional services is recruiting for Implementation Engineer.

Job Summary

Responsible for technical solutions activities of IT Horizons. Your goal is to ensure the integrity of high availability network infrastructure to provide maximum performance for users. Users may be staff, clients, customers and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities

• Monitor Network security status, monitor Application, and Response Systems and other security monitoring tools
• Manage remote connections (VPN management)
• Provide technical support for clients
• Carry out all suggested response actions to threats upon detection of a security breach or network attack
• Ensure proper functioning of all IDS/IPS, NAC, Firewall, Routers, and other network and system monitoring tools.
• Review logs of Security devices (Checkpoints, IPS, ACS, ASA, PIX Firewall)
• Generate and send Network Security Reports (daily, weekly, monthly)
• Research and suggest improvement initiatives with regard to Network Security
• Configuration of Network Security features for new branch equipment (IP Sec site-site VPN, Port Security, SNMP V3, etc.)
• Security impact assessment for every new network activity and mitigation strategy implementation
• Monitor and ensure the security of Wireless Network

Requirements & Specifications:

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or higher / equivalent.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP (both IPv4/IPv6)
• Advanced knowledge of perimeter security solutions (IDS/IPS, Web filtering, Application Filtering, and Firewalling)
• Sophos solutions experience strongly preferred
• Strong working knowledge of the following: wireless security architecture and protocols; access control methodologies; VPN technologies, including IPSec, 3DES, AES, IKE, DMVPN; PCI and SOX standards and compliance, and Layer 2 security controls
• Knowledge and experience across multiple Information Protection capabilities (security monitoring, threat intelligence, network protection, data protection, endpoint protection, technical security assessments, security architecture)
• Experience automating workflows through scripting (Python, Perl, or Ansible)
• CISSP or equivalent
• Skilled in Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA, Sophos, and Juniper firewall platforms
• Minimum of four (4) years’ experience
