Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role for a Hydrologist Engineer, based in Lagos State, Nigeria.
• The Hydrologist Engineer will be responsible for conducting hydrological and hydraulic analysis and modeling, preparing project reports, designing water resources systems such as dams and irrigation schemes, and collaborating with other engineering teams.
• This role also includes monitoring and evaluating water resource data, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and supporting project planning and design phases.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in hydrologic modeling, hydraulic analysis, and water resource management
• Experience designing water resources systems such as dams, irrigation schemes, and drainage structures
• Skills in monitoring and evaluating water resource data and ensuring regulatory compliance
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Experience working with engineering design and planning software
• Ability to work on-site and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
• Bachelor's degree in Hydrology, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field
