Human Resources Officer at Boctrust Microfinance Bank

• We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Human Resource Officer to join our growing team.
• You will play a key role in supporting our employee life-cycle, from recruitment and on-boarding to performance management and employee relations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recruitment and selection processes, including advertising vacancies, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
• Onboard new employees, ensuring they understand company policies, procedures, and culture.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
• Process payroll and benefits administration.
• Coordinate employee training and development programs.
• Manage employee relations, including handling grievances and disciplinary actions.
• Provide support and guidance to employees on HR policies and procedures.
• Stay up-to-date on HR best practices and legal requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field .
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar HR role.
• Strong understanding of HR principles and practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and HR software (a plus).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
