    Human Resources Manager (Investment Management Group)

    Job Objective:

    • This role will be responsible for driving the group wide HR operations and strategy in alignment with the Group’s short-term and long-term corporate goals and objectives.

     

    • The HR Manager will oversee all HR-related matters that include HR strategy formulation and implementation, HR policy development and implementation, performance management, career management and succession planning, employee relations, recruitment and training, organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement.
    • S/he will ensure that the necessary resources, equipment and condition are suitable for meeting the company-wide objectives.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute HR strategies that support the companys growth and business objectives.
    • Collaborate with executive leadership to align HR initiatives with overall organizational goals.
    • Proactively report on and advise executive leadership on all strategic HR issues.
    • Oversee the recruitment process, ensuring the acquisition of top talent for various roles within the organization.
    • Implement effective retention strategies to reduce turnover and promote employee loyalty.
    • Manage the design and administration of competitive, attractive and merit-based compensation and benefits packages in support of the company’s vision and strategy.
    • Conduct regular benchmarking studies to ensure the companys compensation structure remains competitive in the market.
    • Develop, coordinate and administer human resources policies and procedures.
    • Minimise exposure to risks and ensure organisational effectiveness and efficiency.
    • Investigate grievances complaints and legal actions and provide support in resolving disciplinary issues.
    • Design and implement employee development programs, training initiatives, and mentorship opportunities.
    • Foster a positive work environment and promote a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and innovation.
    • Continue to refine and oversee the design and implementation of an effective performance management system that meets the organisation’s needs.
    • Implement strategies to enhance employee productivity, motivation, and job satisfaction.
    • Address employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary matters in a fair and consistent manner.
    • Promote positive employee relations through effective communication and conflict resolution techniques.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
    • Stay updated on changes in labor laws and industry best practices, implementing necessary adjustments to HR policies and procedures.
    • Manage the Company-wide staff training budget; recommend, implement and report on the approved training programmes.
    • Develop and implement best fit career and succession planning framework and provide career counselling to members of staff.
    • Drive the imbibing and harmonisation of preferred Company culture and nurture a positive working environment.
    • Perform other duties as may be required.

    Requirements

    • 9 – 10 years full time relevant Human Resources experience of which some of those years would have HR consulting and HR leadership experience.
    • Recognized and relevant HR certification (CIPMN, CIPD, SHRM, HRCI)
    • Knowledge and use of HRIS is required.
    • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
    • Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and decision-making skills.
    • Knowledge of its sector and the typical operating model.
    • Demonstrated experience across key aspects of HR including recruitment, organisation development, succession planning, performance management, HR strategy definition, employee engagement and talent development.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all organizational levels.
    • Good organizational Skills
    • Deep proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office tools
