    Human Resources (HR) Officer

    Job Description:

    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Officer to manage our People, Culture, and HR Administration functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for talent management, employee engagement, HR policies, workplace culture, and ensuring compliance with labor regulations. This role requires a proactive individual with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and staff orientation while developing and executing strategies to attract and retain top talent.
    • Work closely with department heads to identify staffing needs and foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
    • Implement employee engagement initiatives to improve morale and productivity.
    • Handle grievances, conflict resolution, and disciplinary procedures.
    • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and industry regulations.
    • Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and HR documentation.
    • Oversee payroll administration in collaboration with the finance team.
    • Develop and implement performance appraisal systems.
    • Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development programs.
    • Provide coaching and support to employees and managers.
    • Manage staff welfare programs, health benefits, and incentives.
    • Monitor employee satisfaction and recommend improvements to HR policies.

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, Labour relations or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably in the agribusiness or manufacturing sector.
    • Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR management software.
    • Professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, or equivalent) is an advantage.

    Working Conditions:

    • Office-based role with occasional field visits to farm locations.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
