    Human Resource Officer

    One of the leading companies in the Travel and Tours Industry in Lagos State urgently requires the services of a Human Resource Officer.

    Job Objectives, Descriptions & Responsibilities

    • Achievement of quality human capital management through the provision of human capital management advice to top Management/MD on staff matters.
    • On a general note, the job will entail human resources planning, coordinating and directing the human and administrative functions of the organization.
    • It involves overseeing the recruitment and interviewing process, screening and hiring of new staff, recruiting new job applicants, staff performance measurement and appraisal, developing training and development programs for all employees, consulting with top management on strategic planning; and serving as a link between an organization's management and its employees.
    • It further entails partnering with the top leadership to understand and execute the organizations human resource and talent strategy, particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
    • Moreover, it will involve analysis of trends in compensation and benefits, researching and proposing competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization continues to attract and retain top talents, as well as workplace safety and labour law compliance.

    Job Qualifications & Attributes

    • A good first degree from a reputable educational institution.
    • Possession of a relevant professional qualification is an advantage.
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the Human Resource Department of a reputable organization.
    • Good public relations skills and highly professional.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Must be proactive, creative and self-motivated, with strong networking/strategic marketing skills and ability to think “out of the box”
