The Hub Associate (Abuja) will coordinate shipment for deliveries, receive and ingest parcels, complete relevant documentation, and ensure that the items are delivered successfully. You will be required to record and report hub-related misdemeanours, escalate parcel issues, and coordinate courier partners, amongst other duties.
Responsibilities
Attend to walk-in merchants.
Planning and coordinating inbound and outbound shipments
Printing and assigning the correct waybill. Every shipment has a special waybill number.
Communicate with merchants, courier partners, and internal teams to manage and resolve billing and/or rate issues.
Managing any issues or challenges that arise in day-to-day operations
Planning and coordinating inbound and outbound shipments
Implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
Developing and maintaining relationships with vendors, suppliers, and customers
Monitoring and optimizing inventory levels
Ensuring compliance with laid-down procedures and processes
Escalation of issues, if and when necessary.
General reporting.
Required Skills and Qualifications
HND/Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain, or other related field.
3 years of demonstrated experience as a hub/logistics officer/supervisor in logistics, operations, supply chain management, and e-commerce is an added advantage.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace tools.
