Job Description

• Responsible for all HSE matters relating to the implementation of workplace safety requirement.
• To plan and coordinate HSE promotional and awareness activities, training and programmes.
• To proactively carry out regularinspections/audits with theand ensure that all production practices are compliant with safety standards and all regulations are being observed.
• Ensure safety compliance among all level of employees, keep and maintain all safety equipment, PPE signage etc.
• To maintain and ensure all records or checklists are completed and filed for all inspections, audits or exercises.
• To organize monthly safety & health meeting and conduct safety & health induction to staff.
• Develop a culture of compliance and continuous improvement across production floor.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess HND / B.Sc Degrees with 1 - 3 years relevant work experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work with a wide range of sensitive and confidential issues
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills, as well as organizational and analytical skills
• Manage time effectively and adapt quickly to changing priorities
• Resolve issues by using judgement that is consistent with policies, practices, standards, procedures, regulations or laws
• Ability to adapt to changing work priorities and communicate with a significant diversity of individuals and/or groups
• Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced and diverse environment, with minimal supervision. Sense of urgency
• ISPON certified preferred
• Knowledge of fire safety and prevention, loss control, hazardous chemicals, etc.
• Team-oriented and results driven.
