HSE Manager at Future Concerns Nigeria Limited

CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT

• Regular dealing with other entities up to section heads and site management.
• Provide advice and guidance, answering queries, exchanging information etc
• Manage non-conformances in the face of conflict with production goals.

HSE CONTENT

• Demonstrate personal commitment to the HSEQ Policy
• Maintain awareness of and ensure compliance with all relevant statutory and company HSEQ standards
• Actively participate in Company HSEQ awareness and initiative scheme
• Act as the Responsible for Safety and Environment on Site Delegate (RSES-D) during environmental survey 

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Ensure environmental studies are carried out and approvals received for applicable company projects.
• Ensure satisfactory and balanced integrated coverage of the biophysical, social and health aspects of the Environmental assessment
• Ensure the quality of parameters are benchmarked against applicable standards and requirements.
• Ensures that on accredited Contractors with adequate equipment carry out environmental studies at all sites and locations. 

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Possess minimum of B.Sc in environmental sciences / applied sciences/ engineering with at least 15 years of E&P business 
• Power of persuasion is essential for interfacing with site, regulatory authorities and other stakeholders
• Good report writing, oral communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong team player with networking ability
• In-depth knowledge of the industry’s standards and regulations
• Demonstrate experience with facilities construction and maintenance in similar complexity and nature.
