HSE Coordinator at BOURBON Oil & Gas

Job Summary

• The primary role is to ensure implementation of Operational Safety Management surfer requirements in all shore base locations. The role shall include frequent scheduled and unscheduled offshore visits to the vessels in order to ensure compliance with Operational Safety Management.

Job Details

• Perform regular vessel visits in order to check the implementation and application of pre-task planning tools according to BOURBON HSE standards. 
• Perform pre-task planning for shore based activities.
• Check implementation of all BOURBON HSE requirements onboard vessels and onshore.
• Perform regular coaching on various HSE topics on board vessels and at shore based facilities.
• Promote HSE culture through training and inductions. 
• To deliver and report on HSE expectations and requirements as directed by HSE Manager.
• Participate in day to day incident management, including incident investigation,  as delegated by the HSE manager. 
• Provide regular HSE reporting data as requested. 
• Support  Client Satisfaction Chain stakeholders as directed by the HSE Manager. 
• Manage ‘Safety Takes Me Home’ campaigns for onshore facilities and assist campaign application onboard vessels.

Requirements

Audit 

• Know audit methodologies and how to perform gap analysis as well as closure recommendation (only related to his function and activities). 

HSE Culture 

• Know-how to promote and lead HSE culture and awareness in his/her scope of responsibility. 

HSE Implementation 

• Able to adapt Corporate HSE guidelines into Affiliate Organization procedures related to his/her affiliate activities or how to develop HSE guideline applicable across the whole Group when his/her playing field is corporate. 

HSE Regulation 

• Knowledge of national and international HSE legislations and regulations: SOLAS, MARPOL, ISO14001, OSHA, etc… 

Incident investigation 

• Know-how to analyze and manage incidents (reporting, event management, investigation, root cause analysis, closure & follow-up). 

Marines Standards 

• Know industry standards: OVID, OSM standard, ISM, IMCA. Know-how to perform OSMSA related to his/her own scope of responsibilities. 

O&G and Marine 

• Know industry standards, operations and best practices, keep abreast of news, development and trends, actively represents BOURBON within the industry in relation with his role and fosters beneficial networks. 

Risk Management 

• Knowledge of Risk Management tools & methodology, know-how to perform risk assessments, know-how to build risk management processes related to his/her own scope and to implement risk mitigation plan.
