HRIS Support Engineer at SPIE Oil & Gas Services

SPIE Services Nigeria Limited is currently looking for HRIS Support Engineer to join its work force in Nigeria. 

SERVICE DIMENSIONS

• Management and administration of HR systems.
• Development of HR tools and extensions to HR systems

SERVICE CONTENTS/PROBLEM SOLVING (ACTIVITIES)

Application Support

• Support all existing HR applications. Fix bugs, provide enhancements and modifications when needed.
• Provide support to other employees on all HR systems. Ensure effective use of HR Business Systems.

Application Development

• Write codes to automate processes.
• Develop database objects, including but not limited to tables, stored procedures, views, functions, queries.
• Participate in testing of new and existing software modules.

Database Management

• Develop queries, stored procedures and function for analyzing HR Databases.
• Carry out database upgrades when necessary.

HR Reports

•  Manage the census process. Prepare initial data, liaise with HR Advisers and entity heads to provide updates. Upload final data to web census and provide census reports to HR Management.
• Carry out organization chart updates and provide periodic org chart and manpower reports.
• Provide standard and ad-hoc reports as may be required by management.

Campaigns

• Quarterly Census campaigns
• Managing employee data forecast and statistics

Profile

Qualifications/Experience/Skills Required

• A university degree in Computer Engineering/ Computer Science or related disciplines.
• A good knowledge of HR Information Systems processes and procedures
• Background in Oracle PL/SQL, MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• A background knowledge of reporting development and integration.
• Good knowledge of system testing and debugging.
• Exceptional MS Excel skill
• Good communication skills
• Good knowledge of some software development tools like C#.NET, CSS3 and JavaScript frameworks.
• A minimum of 6 years' experience working in a similar position and environment
