We are looking for a dedicated and experienced HR Technician to oversee and manage all human resources activities at our Wudil project location.
The successful candidate will serve as the primary HR representative on-site, ensuring efficient HR operations, compliance with company policies, and support to both management and employees.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the focal point for all HR-related matters at the Wudil location;
Manage employee records, attendance, and timekeeping systems;
Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and employee documentation;
Handle employee relations issues and provide guidance on company policies;
Support disciplinary processes in line with company procedures;
Ensure compliance with labour laws and company regulations;
Prepare HR reports and maintain accurate HR databases;
Liaise with head office HR team on all HR operations and updates;
Support payroll inputs, leave management, and employee benefits administration;
Conduct regular HR visits to work fronts and address employee concerns.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field;
Must have 3–5 years’ HR experience, preferably in construction or project environments;
Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices;
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
Ability to work independently and manage HR functions in a remote/project location;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.);
High level of integrity and professionalism;
Prior experience working in site-based/project environments;
Familiarity with timekeeping and workforce management systems;
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
