    HR Officer (Training & Development Specialist)

    Job Summary

    • The ideal candidate will be responsible for the full training lifecycle, from needs analysis through curriculum development, facilitation, evaluation, and reporting.
    • The role requires strong technical expertise in learning design, facilitation, budgeting, and strategic workforce development.

    Key Responsibilities
    Training Needs & Strategy:

    • Conduct comprehensive training needs assessments across the organization.
    • Develop organization-wide learning and development strategy.
    • Align training initiatives with business goals and competency frameworks.

    Curriculum & Program Design:

    • Design structured training curricula for technical, leadership, and behavioral competencies.
    • Develop learning materials, facilitator guides, and participant resources.
    • Select appropriate learning methodologies.

    Planning, Budgeting & Execution:

    • Develop annual training plans and training calendars.
    • Prepare and manage training budgets, cost analysis, and ROI.
    • Coordinate internal and external facilitators and training vendors.
    • Manage logistics, scheduling, and documentation for all training programs.

    Facilitation & Delivery:

    • Facilitate internal training sessions and workshops.
    • Support employees and managers during learning interventions.
    • Ensure effective learner engagement and knowledge transfer.

    Evaluation & Reporting:

    • Evaluate training effectiveness using measurable learning outcomes.
    • Track attendance, completion rates, and post-training performance impact.
    • Prepare detailed training reports for management.

    Other HR Responsibilities:

    • Support succession planning and career development initiatives.
    • Contribute to other HR functions as required (performance, onboarding, engagement).

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Education, Psychology, or related fields.
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Training & Development within HR.
    • Proven experience in training design, facilitation, and curriculum development.
    • Strong knowledge L&D frameworks.
    • Experience managing training budgets and vendors.
    • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
