Hotel Receptionist at Salve Consulting Limited

As the hotel receptionist and first point of contact, the ideal candidate should be friendly, eloquent, welcoming, patient, helpful, and knowledgeable in the job functions of a hotel receptionist, therefore it is a requirement for this role that the ideal candidate has gone through hospitality training and worked in the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

• Greeting all guests and assisting them with check-in and check-out.
• Maintaining a positive attitude and friendly demeanor.
• Responding to all guests' questions and requests.
• Answering and forwarding phone calls.
• Managing guests' bookings and reservations.
• Keeping a tidy and orderly workspace.
• Assisting with administrative and clerical tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience working in a hotel receptionist or guest services role.
• High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other necessary computer programs.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluency and well-spoken in English.
• Ability to maintain a positive, friendly attitude even under high pressure.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Professional attitude and appearance.
