    HMO / Admin Officer

    Key Responsibilities

    HMO Liaison & Authorizations

    • Act as the primary point of contact for Health Management Organisations (HMOs)
    • Verify patient coverage and obtain treatment authorizations
    • Resolve HMO-related issues and disputes

    Billing & Claims Management

    • Prepare, submit, and track medical claims accurately and promptly
    • Follow up on outstanding claims
    • Handle rejected or disputed claims to ensure reimbursement

    Patient Verification

    • Confirm patient insurance eligibility and benefits before or during visits
    • Ensure proper documentation for all HMO-related services

    Documentation & Record Management

    • Maintain accurate and confidential records of HMO transactions, patient services, and payments
    • Ensure compliance with internal policies and healthcare regulations

    Administrative Support

    • Manage front desk operations and handle inquiries
    • Schedule and coordinate patient appointments
    • Liaise with clinical and administrative teams for smooth service delivery

    Requirements & Skills

    Education

    • Bachelor’s degree in health information management, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field

    Experience

    • 1–3 years of experience in HMO billing, customer service, or healthcare administration

    Technical Skills

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
    • Familiarity with hospital management software

    Soft Skills

    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Good problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
