Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious HIAB Driver to operate lorry-mounted cranes and transport heavy materials efficiently.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for both driving heavy-duty vehicles and operating the hydraulic crane for loading, unloading, and positioning goods at designated locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate HIAB (lorry-mounted crane) to lift, move, and position heavy materials
• Drive heavy goods vehicles (HGV) to transport materials to and from project sites
• Ensure all loads are properly secured before transportation
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle and crane inspections
• Perform basic maintenance checks and report faults promptly
• Comply with all traffic regulations and workplace health & safety standards
• Maintain accurate delivery records, logbooks, and inspection reports
• Coordinate with site personnel during loading and offloading operations

Requirements

• Proven experience operating a HIAB or similar lorry-mounted crane
• Valid driver’s license
• Good knowledge of road safety regulations and defensive driving practices
• Ability to operate lifting equipment safely and efficiently
• Physically fit and able to work in outdoor environments
• Strong attention to detail and safety
• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance.
