Health Information Officer at Reddington Hospital

Job Summary:

• We are seeking a detail-oriented Health Information Officer to manage and maintain accurate patient records, ensure data security, and support healthcare decision-making. The ideal candidate will oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of health information to improve service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, process, and manage patient health records in compliance with medical and legal standards.
• Ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, and proper storage of health information.
• Analyze health data for reporting and decision-making.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to improve record-keeping and data management processes.
• Ensure compliance with relevant health regulations and standards, including NHMIS (National Health Management Information System).

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Medical Records, or a related field.
• Certification from the Health Records Officers Registration Board of Nigeria (HRORBN) is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) and medical coding systems.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
