    Head of Sales (MFB)

    Key Responsibilities

    • Strategically drive the bank's income (asset creation and liability generation) through planned activities.
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan to revolutionize both traditional and digital banking operations.
    • Drive the development and execution of growth strategies, including product innovation, market expansion, brand positioning and customer acquisition.
    • Develop and implement risk management frameworks to safeguard the bank’s assets and reputation.
    • Achieve financial performance, including profitability, liquidity, and capital adequacy, and ensure the achievement of financial targets.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including regulators, investors, and community partners.
    • Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and internal policies, fostering a culture of transparency and accountability.

    Qualifications and Experience 

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is highly preferred.
    • Minimum of 6 years of progressive leadership experience in the financial services sector, with at least 4 years in a senior management role within microfinance or banking.
    • Strong background in digital banking, fintech integration, and financial inclusion strategies will be an added advantage
    • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans that drive organizational growth and sustainability.
    • Deep understanding of banking operations, financial management, and risk assessment in the microfinance sector.
    • Exceptional ability to inspire, lead, and develop high-performing teams.
    • Strong knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
