Job Description

• Our client is in need of an experienced head of pastoral staff. The Head of Pastoral will be responsible for creating a nurturing and supportive environment for students, promoting their personal and social development.
• They will lead the pastoral care team in ensuring the well-being of students and maintaining a positive school culture.
• The ideal candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to provide guidance and support to students.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the pastoral care program, including the welfare and behavior of students.
• Lead a team of pastoral care staff, providing guidance and support.
• Develop and implement strategies to promote students' well-being, mental health, and personal growth.
• Address and manage disciplinary issues and support conflict resolution among students.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies as necessary to support students' needs.
• Organize and coordinate pastoral care activities and events.
• Promote and maintain a positive and inclusive school culture.
• Stay informed about current best practices in pastoral care and student well-being.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / BEd qualification with at least 5 years work experience.

Salary
N100,000 / month.
