Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Fleet Operations to join our team at TAK Logistics Limited.
• As the Head of Fleet Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our fleet operations, including vehicle maintenance, route optimization, driver management, and compliance with safety regulations.
• You will work closely with our logistics team to ensure efficient and cost-effective transportation of goods.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective fleet management strategies and policies
• Develop Monthly Truck serviceability record.
• Optimize routes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
• Maximize the efficiency and profitability of the Group’s logistics operations while simultaneously achieving best practice in systems, process and technology, continuous improvement, supply chain, automation and delivery.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance and repair to ensure fleet availability and safety
• Manage and lead a team of drivers, fleet managers, mechanics etc., to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety and best practices.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance fleet operations.
• Collaborate with the logistics team to coordinate transportation activities. Monitor and report on fleet performance metrics.
• Manage third party vendor relationships and fixing emergent problems.
• Daily interface with journey management officers, tracking officers, and CSO to ensure adherence to laid down journey plan.
• In charge of Fleet Managers at all locations of our business operation.
• Evaluate logistics supply chain needs and selection.
• Any other duties as may be assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in business administration, operations management, engineering, or related field; master's degree or MBA preferred.
• Proven experience in operations management, with a track record of success in leading operational functions in a complex organization.
• Strong understanding of business operations, supply chain management, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve performance goals.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving innovation and continuous improvement.
• Analytical mindset and data-driven decision-making skills, with proficiency in analyzing and interpreting operational metrics and performance indicators.
