    Head of Operations

    Role Description

    • As the Head of Operations at our fastpaced, techdriven startup, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the operational strategy and driving the execution that fuels our growth.
    • You'll need a profound understanding of the operational dynamics in the tech industry and an ability to navigate market corrections with strategic agility.
    • Your role will extend beyond traditional operations, touching upon investor relations and financial structuring, making you a critical piece of our executive puzzle.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Operational Strategy & Management: Develop, implement, and refine operational strategies that align with our business goals. Ensure seamless integration and alignment of all operations, including customer service, supply chain management, and project delivery. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
    • Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and build highperforming teams across various departments. Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and collaboration. Ensure that the team is motivated, wellinformed, and equipped to deliver against their objectives.
    • Market Analysis & Correction Navigation: Stay abreast of market trends and technological advancements. Leverage this knowledge to anticipate and respond to market corrections, ensuring the company remains competitive and resilient. Implement strategies to capitalize on market opportunities and mitigate risks.
    • Investor Relations & Financial Oversight: Understand and manage investor relations, cap tables, and equity structures. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and maintain transparent relationships. Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Ensure the company's financial health and compliance with financial regulations.
    • Operational Excellence & Quality Assurance: Implement systems and processes that ensure operational excellence and quality assurance across all departments. Drive the adoption of technology and innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
    • Risk Management: Identify potential risks to the operational and financial stability of the company. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to safeguard against operational disruptions and financial volatility.
    • Partnership & Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, suppliers, and other external stakeholders. Negotiate contracts and manage vendor performance to ensure value and quality in all external engagements.

    Key Result Areas (KRAs):

    • Operational Efficiency: Achieve a significant reduction in operational costs while maintaining or enhancing quality and productivity. Streamline processes and implement best practices in operations management.
    • Team Performance: Build and sustain highperforming teams. Achieve target employee satisfaction and retention rates. Ensure that team members are aligned with company goals and have the resources and training necessary to excel in their roles.
    • Market Adaptability: Demonstrate an ability to quickly adapt to market changes and steer the company through market corrections. Implement strategies that capitalize on market opportunities and safeguard against risks.
    • Stakeholder Satisfaction: Maintain strong relationships with investors, partners, and other key stakeholders. Ensure transparent communication and regular reporting. Achieve high levels of satisfaction among stakeholders.
    • Financial Health: Oversee and maintain the company's financial health. Achieve targets for revenue growth and profitability. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and best practices.
    • Risk Mitigation: Develop and implement effective risk management strategies. Ensure that the company is wellprepared to handle operational and financial uncertainties.

    Qualifications

    • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within a startup tech environment.
    • Proven track record of operational excellence, team leadership, and financial acumen.
    • Strong understanding of market dynamics, investor relations, and cap tables.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Strategic thinker with an analytical mind and strong problemsolving capabilities.
