Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of IT to lead our IT department and oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of our technology infrastructure.
• The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to align IT strategies with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• IT Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives.
• IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and databases.
• Cybersecurity: Develop and implement robust cybersecurity measures to protect the company's data and systems from cyber threats.
• IT Service Management: Ensure that IT services are delivered efficiently and effectively, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Team Leadership and Management: Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.
• Budgeting and Cost Control: Manage the IT budget, ensuring that costs are controlled and aligned with business objectives.
• Vendor Management: Develop and maintain relationships with IT vendors, ensuring that services are delivered to a high standard.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that IT systems and processes comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A professional certificate will be an added advantage
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of IT experience, with at least 3years in a leadership role.
• Technical Skills: Strong technical background in IT, with expertise in areas such as cloud computing, cybersecurity, data analytics, and IT service management.
• Leadership and Communication Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire IT teams.
• Business Acumen: Strong business acumen, with the ability to align IT strategies with business objectives.
