Summary:
As the Head of Internal Control for our subsidiary, you will spearhead the design, implementation, and monitoring of a comprehensive internal control framework. This role is critical for safeguarding organizational assets, ensuring regulatory compliance, mitigating operational risks, and fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and oversee a robust internal control framework tailored to the insurance industry.
- Continuously assess and address emerging risks within the insurance sector.
- Lead initiatives to enhance risk management practices, ensuring effective integration with internal control mechanisms.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes, ensuring timely compliance across all business processes.
- Work with business units to integrate internal control measures into daily operations.
- Develop and implement fraud prevention and detection strategies.
- Investigate incidents of fraud, misconduct, or breaches, and recommend corrective

Qualifications and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CIA, CISA, ACCA, or CPA are highly desirable.
Experience:
Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive experience in internal controls, risk management, or audit, preferably within the insurance.
