- Manage the architecting, planning, designing, building and implementation of IT services to meet client and business needs
- Ensure committed portfolio of projects are delivered within agreed constraints
- Ensure compliance with Group policies and procedures during solution development

Competence Requirements
- Manage the architecting, planning, designing, building and implementation of IT services including new development and major enhancements to existing systems
- Deliver committed portfolio of projects within agreed constraints
- Manage the solution development lifecycle for new / changed services
- Serve as point of escalation, review and approval for key issues and decisions for all solution delivery domains
- Ensure that the tools and environment required for solution development are available and accessible
- Ensure the business analysis function supports the development of solutions by performing scoping assessments, developing
- business cases and defining functional requirements
- Provide high level validation to technical design documents
- Ensure that all security designs and implementations adhere to enterprise security standards
- Ensure that transitioned services have been developed to meet operational and service level requirements
- May contribute to budgeting activities
- Involved in the hiring and development of staff
- Solutions delivery as per client and business needs
- Solutions delivery as per organisational standards i.e.,
- policies, architectural standards, etc.
- Quality of business analysis

- IT Solution/ Service Development experience
- Experience with SDLC or any comparable solution development lifecycle

Specification/Qualification
Educational Qualification
Minimum of a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related areas
Professional Qualification
Possession of the following certification is recommended: CBAP, MCSD, CSD, CSQA
Desired Experience
- 12 to 16 years of functional experience
- Minimum of 3 years of management experience
