Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced Head of Credit to lead our credit department and manage our company's lending operations.
• The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of credit risk management and will be responsible for credit disbursement, ensuring 0% default, developing and implementing credit policies, procedures, and strategies that align with the company's overall goals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the credit department and manage the lending operations of the company.
• Disburse credit and ensure 0% default rate.
• Develop and implement credit policies and procedures to ensure effective credit risk management.
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients, financial institutions, and other stakeholders.
• Analyze credit applications and creditworthiness of clients to determine appropriate lending decisions.
• Monitor credit performance and adjust credit policies and strategies as needed.
• Manage a team of credit analysts and loan officers, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Develop and deliver credit reports and presentations to senior management and the board of directors.
• Work closely with other departments within the company to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in credit regulations and make recommendations to senior management as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of banking experience in credit risk management, with a proven track record of success.
• Strong knowledge of credit policies, procedures, and strategies.
• Experience managing a team of credit analysts and loan officers.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience with credit risk management software and tools.
