    Head of Consumer Insight Nigeria & Ghana

    Lagos based

     What will be your role?

    In this role you will lead local insights & strategy projects for Nigeria & Ghana that will help our client to take the right decision on how and where to win with their brands.

    What will be your Core Responsibilities?

    • Provide local category & brand performance measurement, competitor reviews
    • Manage local research projects, both qualitative & quantitative, undertaking secondary data analysis when relevant.
    • Provide superior consumer & shopper insights to guide brand I category I channel strategies.
    • Detect clear white spaces to fuel the innovation funnel & communication strategy.
    • Master New Product Development research (ideas, concept, product, pack, pricing…)
    • Build cross regional consumer understanding & monitor from close Nigeria & Ghana.
    • Master Nielsen, Kantar, IPSOS data.
    • Complete the key CI pool of suppliers for Nigeria.
    • Build a unique data base & optimize current sources of market dynamics.
    • Lead insight activation & brand strategy workshops.
    • Determine & implement the annual research programme.
    • Establish & manage CI budget.
    • Ensure that market/consumer knowledge is shared, understood, and acted upon.
    • Share best practice techniques and learnings within the broader CI Community.

    What will you bring along?

    • Proven record of designing and leading qualitative & quantitative research projects (Mandatory).
    • Ability to connect the data dots cross qualitative I quantitative sources & visualise insights.
    • Excellent communication skills to present in a clear, simple & visual way complex topics.
    • Strong skills to influence & facilitate internal decision making
    • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and prioritise workload.
    • Master Nielsen & Kantar tools (Mandatory); Power BI is a plus.
    • Minimum of 7+ years of consumer insight experience in a leading FMCG company
    • An international studying, working, or living experience
