    Head, Institutional Sales

    Job Summary

    • The Head of Institutional Sales is responsible for leading the strategy, relationship management, and growth of the institutional client segment across ARM’s group. The ideal candidate will lead strategic engagement with ARM’s institutional clients across all ARM business entities. This role focuses on deepening client relationships, originating new strategic opportunities, and serving as a trusted advisor to institutional partners in investment management, corporate trusteeship, Securities trading, and financial advisory. The candidate must have strong networks and relationships already built, as well as portfolio of business relationships that can be benefited from. Ideal candidate will act as a relationship anchor ensuring client needs are proactively identified and addressed, driving growth through collaborative opportunity origination, and ensuring client satisfaction at the highest levels

    Job Details

    Strategic Leadership, Client Acquisition and Engagement: 

    • Develop and implement the strategic vision and direction for the institutional Sales across ARM group 
    • Develop and execute strategies to grow institutional assets under management (AUM) 
    • Lead the acquisition of new institutional clients and expansion of existing relationships. 
    • Serve as the primary relationship lead for top-tier institutional clients across ARM’s business entities. 
    • Act as a trusted advisor, understanding clients’ evolving strategic needs and aligning them with ARM’s capabilities. 
    • Coordinate internally across asset management, investment banking, corporate trusteeship, and other divisions to ensure unified and effective client coverage. 

    Opportunity Origination & Business Development: 

    • Identify and originate new business opportunities by leveraging ARM’s full platform, including bespoke investment structures, commercial trusteeship, financial advisory, and co-investment solutions. 
    • Develop strategic account plans for key institutional clients to maximize long-term engagement and value creation. 
    • Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies to attract new institutional clients. 
    • Build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders and partners.

    Client Relationship Management: 

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients, providing exceptional service and support. 
    • Maintain and track client engagement metrics and satisfaction indicators. 
    • Lead initiatives to enhance the client experience across the institutional platform. 

    Financial & Strategic Reporting: 

    • Monitor client-related revenue growth and relationship profitability. 
    • Provide regular updates to executive leadership on relationship progress and strategic initiatives. 
    • Team Leadership and Development: Lead ,mentor, and develop the institutional sales team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. 
    • Ensure adequate training and development opportunities for team members. 
    • Promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment

    Requirements

    COMPETENCIES, SKILLS & ABILITIES

    • Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills 
    • Strategic mindset with a strong grasp of institutional client needs and industry trends 
    • Superior communication and advisory capabilities 
    • Deep understanding of multi-asset product offerings and financial structuring 
    • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cross-functional collaboration 
    • Strong leadership and people management skills. 
    • High ethical standards and integrity 
    • Commercial acumen and negotiation skills

    QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CAIA) is preferred. 
    • 15+ years in financial services, with significant experience in institutional client coverage, strategic advisory, and relationship management roles 
    • Proven track record of engaging with senior institutional decision makers and driving cross business revenue opportunities 
    • Experience working across multiple business lines or integrated financial service platforms
