    Head, Human Resources

    The Head, Human Resources holder will provide strategic direction through Human Resources planning and development. The role will focus on employee engagement, effective performance management as well as overall enhancement of the organization’s business objectives.

    The Head, Human Resources will report directly to the Managing Director/ CEO.

    Requirements

    • A Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Management, Administration, or any related fields.
    • A Master’s degree is an added advantage but not mandatory
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
    • Professional certifications (CIPM, SHRM, PHRi, CIPD) is required.
    • Ability to design and implement strategies and policies

    Job Description

    In fulfilling his or her responsibilities, the successful Candidate will:

    • Implement personnel policies and procedure on recruitment, selection, performance appraisal, and promotion, disciplinary actions, redeployment, redundancy, retention, training needs assessment and career development.
    • Provide strategic direction and leadership on the development of appropriate human resource practices and processes.
    • Prepare annual budget based on human resources plan and organization's business objectives and monitor performance against set targets.
    • Consistently monitor culture metrics and other key performance indicators
    • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, and procedures across the organization.
    • Develop and implement innovative engagement schemes and HR interventions to achieve and sustain the highest engagement score
    • Ensure HR operational processes are managed well in terms of accuracy, frequency & compliance.
    • Support the organizational structure with required talent demand for smooth operations as per business plan.
    • Build employer branding, attracting great talent and controlling attrition
    • Forecast talent requirements and oversee hiring
    • Lead and leverage all HR processes within the business (Succession Planning, Talent Management, Performance Management).
