    Head, Human Capital Management & Administration

    The Role

    • This role ensures the attraction, development, engagement, and retention of top talent, while fostering a productive, compliant, and values-driven workplace culture.
    • The position also oversees administrative systems, processes, and assets to guarantee efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and organisational resilience.
    • The Head of Human Capital Management & Administration will be responsible for architecting the people strategy and administrative framework of the Group.
    • You will be tasked with transforming traditional HR and Admin functions into a value-driven engine that supports our diverse business operations and fosters a culture of high performance.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement talent attraction and retention strategies to meet evolving staffing needs.
    • Direct the job design process and ensure all roles are aligned with organizational goals.
    • Oversee the staff appraisal systems that objectively measure the contribution of each staff member in terms of KPIs and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
    • Ensure implementation of a competitive compensation system that rewards high performance and commitment.
    • Evaluate skill gaps of the workforce and facilitate training and capacity building to fill those gaps.
    • Develop, review, and monitor the implementation of HR and administrative policies.
    • Ensure all practices comply with labour laws and industry-specific regulatory requirements.
    • Lead the digital transformation of HR/Admin functions by deploying cutting-edge software to optimize turnaround time.
    • Foster a safe, healthy, and motivating work environment that promotes staff productivity.
    • Manage disciplinary procedures and lead conflict resolution/grievance handling with fairness and professionalism.
    • Develop, promote, embody and drive a culture centred on the core values and brand identity of the Group.
    • Prepare comprehensive reports and provide strategic counsel to the Management on people and administrative matters.
    • Mentor, coach, and develop the internal human capital & Admin team to ensure bench strength and professional growth.
    • Ensure the seamless day-to-day running of the office and timely processing of administrative requests.
    • Manage physical asset, including vehicles, building installations, and equipment—with a focus on efficiency and cost reduction.
    • Implement best-practice record-keeping and document management standards across the Group.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or relevant Master’s degree is highly preferred.
    • Certification: Recognised professional certification from reputable bodies such as CIPM, CIPD, or SHRM is mandatory.
    • Experience: 8-9 years of experience in HR and Administration, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role within a structured corporate environment. (Experience working in constructions or FMCG industry is an added advantage).

    Core Competencies:

    • Proficiency in modern HRIS/ERP software
    • Strong knowledge of labour laws, compliance, and HR best practices
    • Strategic talent management (including recruitment and selection expertise and succession planning)
    • A deep understanding HR metrics and data-backed decision-making.
    • Ability to manage field/remote teams through efficient monitoring and tracking of tasks.
    • Knowledge of administrative systems, asset management, and process optimisation.
    • Strategic HR leadership, workforce planning, and HR business partnering.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
    • High integrity and emotional intelligence.
    • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to foster a positive workplace culture and lead complex cultural change.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as well as multi-task.
    • Knowledge of project management is an added advantage.
