    Head, Enterprise Application

    Our client; a reputable INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY COMPANY is looking to fill the role of HEAD, ENTERPRISE APPLICATION


    • Oversees applications support and implementation, product demonstration, concept presentation, Proof of Concept activities, project management, service delivery to internal and external customers, customer engagement either to understand peculiar needs/challenges or to ensure that gaps in existing implementations are understood
    • Evaluating the market for new business opportunities
    • Sales, implementation and support of Enterprise solutions and products.
    • Implement defined marketing strategies to achieve targeted sales.
    • Develop and implement penetration strategies and approaches for launching new solutions and/or entering new markets with an ultimate aim of meeting sales targets
    • Enterprise Application management and strategy implementation
    • Developing and mentoring other team members in the Enterprise units.

    Duties and responsibilities

    • Identifying market for company's products
    • Develop a go to market strategy for new solutions and implement it
    • Drive the support and sales of Enterprise solutions to our clients
    • Provide High Level project cost Estimation (HLE) and quotes.
    •    Technical requirements gathering and assessment
    • Coordinates project planning, preparation, and implementation of solutions to clients
    • Provide technical support to project team members involved in the development or upgrade of systems.
    • Optimize application availability and maintenance within project timelines; analyse application and system performance and ensures that end-users are provided with necessary support.
    • Identify, track and mitigate project risks and issues, coordinate response escalation, track and analyze incidents
    • Leads directly or indirectly project management activities and deliverables for the projects within the Enterprise unit.
    • Work with business and stakeholders to agree the approach for project implementation
    • Actively involved in the development, and delivery of IT strategy
    • Provide documentation for RFP’s and general project proposals.
    • Support and develop a pipeline of the technical expertise that will be required to meet long-term business goals.
    • Supports the delivery of complex and transformational multi-year upgrade programs/projects.
    • Manage project timelines and communicate status to all stakeholders, internal and external.
    • Conduct proof of concepts, trainings and User Acceptance Testing’s.
    •  Deliver training sessions and educate customers on application functionalities, uses cases and workflows.
    • Collaborate with application vendors on optimal service delivery and ensure maintenance of Service Level Agreements between service provider, clients and the Company.
    •  Keeps abreast of new technology to ensure system upgrades or new software integration meets functional requirements, system compliance, and interface specifications.
    • Maps requirements to existing solutions and identifies gaps; provides management with necessary feedback and recommends solutions to address critical gaps.  


    • Strong system administration skill
    • Strong software programming skill
    • Advance MS Excel Skill
    • Knowledge of DNS, TCP/IP and other networking concepts and Operating Systems
    •  Proficiency with installation, configuring and troubleshooting software issues
    • Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills 
    • Possess good customer service skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task 
    • Excellent technical, analytical, interpersonal and organization skills


    • Min of BSc in Computing, Mathematics, Engineering and any Science related courses 
    • Master’s degree would be an added advantage
    • Minimum of eight (8) years’ experience in a project management / implementation and client     facing role 
    • Knowledge of Database administration and database scripting; SQL
    • Enterprise Application Support Experience is a MUST
