    Head, Commercials

    The Role

    • We are looking for a seasoned Commercials Manger, who will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives of the company by acquiring clients in different business verticals and managing the relationship to ensure products uptake across company’s digital channels.
    • Within this capacity as the Head, Commercials, the successful candidate would be reporting to the Country Director, Nigeria in the dispense of his/ her duties.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Acquiring key strategic clients within business verticals (FMCG, Financial services, Government entities and corporate enterprises).
    • Meet and exceed client acquisition and revenue targets.
    • Maintain excellent relationships with FMCG’s, bank and non-bank Clients.

    Other Duties and Responsibilities

    • Initiate and execute the company’s strategy in acquiring clients in different business verticals (FMCG, Financial services, Government entities and corporate enterprises).
    • Execute efficiently to surpass revenue budget for client products.
    • Manage new and existing Strategic Clients relationships within the assigned business verticals.
    • Optimize the channel by executing customer acquisition strategies, driving products adoption, and collaborating with internal stakeholders.
    • Manage significant opportunity pipeline to guarantee success and nation- wide growth.
    • Track, analyse, and communicate key quantitative metrics, competition analysis and business trends as they relate to partner relationships.
    • Achieving growth and hitting client Acquisition and B2B targets.
    • Implement tactical plans that expands company’s FMCG clientele base, increase utilization, and maintain strong presence.
    • Work in collaboration with other team members in the Business Development unit in meeting the unit goals and objectives.
    • Preparing reports as required.

    Educational qualification and key skills

    • Minimum of B.Sc. from a reputable University. An MBA will be an added advantage.
    • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in FMCG/Financial Services industries.
    • Excellent understanding of the FMCG value chain would be an added advantage.
    • Excellent understanding of B2B business models and ability to manage C level customers within an organization.
    • Ability to drive value in each of the business models in terms of customer acquisition and retention.
    • Strong interpersonal relationship built over time with key strategic clients.
