Head, Banking Operations at Addosser Microfinance Bank

Reporting to: Chief Operating Officer

Main Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate branch operations activities on a daily basis.
• Vault Management.
• Ensure transaction processing are in line with policies and procedure.
• Collaborate with correspondent banks for smooth transaction processing.
• Develop and manage a team of well-trained focused and motivated Banking Services Staff.
• Provides effective and efficient report of operations activities to management for analysis and decision making.
• Coordinate with the IT department to ensure continuous availability and effectiveness of business applications and technology infrastructure required for the Bank’s operations to run smoothly.
• Develops, implements and updates policies, procedures, standards & processes for the unit.
• Ensures accuracy of customer data and transactions through management of authorization levels and access rights.
• Treasury Operations – Supervision of Funds Investment Transaction activity.
• POS Terminal Operation – Ensure timely transaction settlement to customers account report.

Relevant Skills, Qualification, Attributes & Experience

• 5 - 8 years cognate experience in Operations in a financial institution or a finance house.
• B.Sc / HND in Social Sciences or any other relevant course of study.
• Excellent Analytical Skills.
• Must be computer literate.
• Excellent communication, reporting skills.
• Applicants must not be more than 36 years.
