The Head, Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) Business Segment will lead the development and execution of the BaaS strategy, offering modular financial and operational solutions to startups, SMEs, and established businesses. The role is focused on scaling digital banking, credit facilities, and payment gateway solutions to drive adoption and revenue growth.
Job Details
Drive the strategic expansion of VBank’s BaaS platform, ensuring N200B in new deposits and N150B in new loans disbursed.
Develop and implement innovative financial solutions, including embedded finance, digital payments, and API banking.
Oversee acquiring and onboarding at least 100K new accounts through BaaS partnerships.
Collaborate with fintechs, payment processors, and businesses to integrate VBank’s digital banking solutions into their platforms.
Ensure the BaaS portfolio maintains an NPL ratio of 3% or lower by implementing strong risk management practices.
Enhance customer experience by optimizing platform performance, security, and ease of use.
Monitor industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements to keep VBank’s BaaS offerings competitive.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Technology, or related field; MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., Fintech, Digital Banking) preferred.
8–10 years of experience in digital banking, fintech, or BaaS, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of embedded finance, API banking, and digital payment ecosystems.
Proven track record in business development, strategic partnerships, and innovation in financial services
