Guidance Counsellor at Plumptre Advisory

• The successful candidate will be required to provide high standard counselling to students in support of their personal and academic development.
• This role is well *suited to someone who has worked as a School Counsellor in a School or provided therapy/counselling services to children in a formal setting*. 

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Guidance & Counselling, Social Work, Psychology or a related discipline.
• 7 years post-qualification experience working with children in a school or clinical setting.
• An excellent understanding of the emotional, social, developmental and educational issues of children and teenagers.
• The possession of a Master’s in Counselling or Psychology will be an added advantage; so will further therapeutic training or certification in working with children and young people.
