A strategic and high-energy Group Training and Development Manager who will build our in-house talents, identify skill gaps across our diverse subsidiaries and design world-class programs that ensure our workforce is "future-ready" for the evolving African market.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
L&D Strategy & Alignment: Develop and execute a group-wide training strategy aligned with our core values: Sustainability, Innovation, Partnership, and People-Centricity.
Needs Assessment: Effectively conduct a comprehensive Training Needs Analysis (TNA) across the diverse entities within Capital Sage Holdings. The Group Training and Development Manager must adopt a multi-sectoral approach that bridges the gap between different business models.
Program Design & Delivery: Create and facilitate engaging learning experiences, including leadership development, technical upskilling, and digital literacy.
Onboarding Excellence: Effectively integrate new hires into the unique culture of Capital Sage Holdings, the Group Training and Development Manager must transform onboarding from a standard orientation into a high-impact immersion program.
Digital Learning Management: Oversee the implementation and adoption of a Learning Management System (LMS) for remote and self-paced learning across pan-African teams.
Performance Metrics: Define and track KPIs (e.g., Training ROI, performance improvement, and certification rates) to measure L&D impact on business goals.
Stakeholder Management: Act as a strategic partner to subsidiary CEOs and Department Heads to identify technical training and regulatory compliance needs.
EDUCATION
HND or Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
Professional Qualification: An HR certification - CIPM, PHRi, or SHRM(added advantage)
Computer literacyand advance user of excel is a must
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 5–7 years in Learning & Development or Talent Management, preferably within a fast-paced Fintech, FMCG, or Conglomerate environment.
Proven ability to design curriculum and training materials from scratch.
Proficiency with LMS platforms, project management tools, and modern presentation software (e.g., Canva, Gamma, or advanced PowerPoint).
