Group Head, Enterprise Infrastructure at Verraki

• As the Group Head, Enterprise Infrastructure, you will lead the design, implementation, and management of our client’s entire enterprise-wide IT infrastructure. You will ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of their data centers, cloud platforms, networks, and security systems, aligning with their digital transformation goals.  

Key Qualifications and Competencies 

Education & Experience 

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.  
• 10+ years in IT infrastructure management, with 4+ years in a leadership role within banking/fintech.  
• Certifications: AWS/Azure Solutions Architect, CCIE, CISSP, ITIL 4, TOGAF, VMware Certified Professional – Data Center Virtualization (VCP-DCV), CISSP, Microsoft Certified: SQL Server Database Administrator 

Skills & Attributes 

Expertise in:  

• Core Banking Infrastructure (Finacle, Oracle Flexcube, or similar).  
• Hybrid Cloud (AWS, Azure, VMware).  
• Networking (SD-WAN, Zero Trust, Cisco/Fortinet).  
• Automation (Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes). 
• Strong stakeholder engagement and executive communication skills.  
• Proven track record in large-scale infrastructure transformations. 

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership 

• Define and execute their enterprise infrastructure strategy (on-prem, hybrid cloud, edge computing).  
• Align infrastructure initiatives with business objectives and regulatory requirements (CBN, PCI DSS, ISO 27001).  
• Drive cost optimization through cloud migration, automation, and vendor management. 

Operational Excellence

• Oversee disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity plans (RTO/RPO adherence).  
• Lead capacity planning and performance optimization for infrastructure assets. 

Security & Compliance

• Enforce zero-trust security frameworks for data centers, cloud, and networks.  
• Mitigate cyber risks through proactive threat detection (SIEM, PAM, DLP).  
• Ensure 100% compliance with CBN, NDIC, and global banking standards. 

Innovation & Modernisation

• Spearhead cloud adoption (AWS/Azure) and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) initiatives.  
• Pilot AI/ML-driven infrastructure monitoring and predictive maintenance.  
• Foster partnerships with FinTechs and Tech vendors to drive innovation. 

Team & Stakeholder Management

• Lead a high-performing team of infrastructure architects, engineers, and analysts.  
• Collaborate with CIO, CISO, and business units to deliver seamless IT services.  
• Manage vendor SLAs (Microsoft, Oracle, Cisco, Fortinet) and outsourced operations.
