    Group Deputy Sales Director

    Job Summary

    • The role is to accelerate sales growth, collaborate with the team, and implement a sales plan to drive, achieve revenue growth and sales strategy in Nigeria for the company.
    • The candidate must be energetic, persuasive, well-organised, and able to utilize his ability to sell and lead his subordinates across Nigeria.
    • Define and execute appropriate business development, marketing, technical, operations, and sales support programs to maximise profitability in Nigeria.
    • The candidate will develop and achieve the company’s objectives in the allocated region regarding market share, sales, execution, and people performance.
    • Develop and monitor business standards of existing distributors to meet business goals.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage and oversee the Sales operations
    • Design and execute plans to meet targets and develop relationships with customers.
    • Drive brand penetration within the country.
    • Oversees and executes the overall business objective of the company.
    • Ensure strategic marketing activities are developed and executed for brand visibility and sales.
    • Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors. sales, Regional Sales Manager, sales executives, and market developers and ensure they achieve the designated targets and business goals.
    • Create strong relationships with key stakeholders in Nigeria as regards the company’s products.
    • Ensure the team meets and exceeds weekly/monthly/annual sales targets.
    • Establish and adjust selling prices by monitoring costs, competition and supply, and demand.

    Requirements
    The following skills and experience are required:

    • BSC in Marketing or any relevant discipline.
    • MBA will be an added advantage.
    • Must have 15 - 20 years of work experience.
    • Must be in the Food and Beverages industry.
    • Proven sales experience, meeting or exceeding targets.
    • Proven ability to position products against competitors.
    • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong analytical skills.
    • Previous experience as an Assistant Director, Sales or Deputy Sales Director
    • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products sold.
    • Leadership skills to lead teams in achieving results.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
