    Graphics Design Intern

    Job Summary: We are looking for a self-starter, creative, and innovative Graphics Design Intern who is passionate about creating appealing and aesthetic designs to communicate messages.

    The ideal candidate will support the communications team of FATE Foundation to create beautiful and appealing graphic designs that aligns with the Foundation's branding guidelines.

    Key responsibilities will include:

    • Support with visual communications projects including but not limited to program branding, brochures, advertising (TV, radio, print, outdoor and web), event branding, illustrations, infographics, toolkits and communication resources and presentation materials.
    • Provide support through various channels, including digital, web etc. and create original graphic design layouts and illustrations for FATE Foundation programs and services.
    • Support all key stakeholders to develop design collateral aligned with required design needs.
    • Ensure brand guidelines and directives are embraced and adhered to in all executions.
    • Keep up-to-date on the latest design trends by attending workshops and courses and reading relevant materials.

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • A minimum of 1 - 2 years’ work experience in graphics design.
    • Good understanding of website design, corporate identity, advertisements, multimedia design, etc.
    • An evident design portfolio of illustrations or other graphic design.
    • Familiarity with design software and technologies, including CorelDraw, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, etc.
    • Ability to critically evaluate choices in light of the customer's needs and excellent communication skills.
    • Ability to display critical thinking and creativity by meeting challenges with thoughtfulness and offering smart solutions.
    • Ability to proactively gather necessary information about projects.
    • Ability to meet tight deadlines, prioritize workload, and work methodically
    • A keen eye for visual composition and aesthetics.
    • A OND/HND/Bachelor’s degree in Information technology, Fine Arts or a related discipline from an accredited university.
