Job Description

• A Graphic Designer is responsible for creating visual concepts, designs, and layouts for various digital and print media.
• The designer’s primary role is to communicate ideas, messages, and branding through visual elements that engage and inform the audience.
• They work closely with marketing, branding, and product teams to ensure cohesive and effective design solutions that align with the company’s objectives and brand identity.

Responsibilities

Design Creation:

• Develop visual concepts for various media, including websites, social media, print materials, advertisements, logos, packaging, and more.
• Translate ideas and brand messages into visually appealing designs.

Brand Identity:

• Ensure all design work aligns with the brand’s visual identity and guidelines.
• Maintain consistency across all visual elements and marketing materials.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with marketing, content, and product teams to understand the project requirements and goals.
• Coordinate with copywriters, photographers, and other creatives to produce cohesive content.

Layout & Composition:

• Design layouts for print and digital materials such as brochures, flyers, presentations, and email templates.
• Ensure proper alignment, typography, and use of color, imagery, and space.

Image Editing & Retouching:

• Edit and manipulate images to fit design requirements.
• Retouch photos and graphics to enhance visual appeal.

Prototypes & Mockups:

• Create design prototypes and mockups for website, app, or product designs.
• Present design concepts to stakeholders and make revisions as needed.

File Management:

• Prepare final design files for print or digital production.
• Maintain organized design assets and version control.

Keeping Up with Trends:

• Stay updated with industry design trends, tools, and technologies.
• Continuously innovate and bring fresh ideas to design projects.

Qualifications

• 3 years proven experience in graphic design, with a portfolio showcasing a range of design projects.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, etc.).
• Familiarity with web design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and basic HTML/CSS is a plus.
• Understanding of printing processes, file formats, and production requirements.
• Strong creative vision with the ability to generate innovative design concepts.
• Ability to solve design challenges in creative and effective ways.
• High level of accuracy in design work, ensuring that all elements are visually balanced and aligned.
• Excellent eye for typography, color schemes, and composition.
• Ability to effectively communicate design concepts and rationale to clients, managers, and other stakeholders.
• Collaborative mindset for working with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills to handle project timelines and priorities.
